trentonlf: Since you don't want to receive nominations I sent you a little something, it's a must keep (I don't want it back) for being such a positive presence and help to Moon :-)
Thanks for offering a way out of that :)
Really starting to be edgy about being even a little active on here, as it seems to have such... unforeseen consequences.

So let me rephrase the previous statement: Please keep me off nominations AND ninja gifting for a while.

Oh boy, this doesn't get any less awkward. Quite the contrary :/

Thank you to everyone on this thread, everyone who contributed games and took part in making GOGers happy.
Please, don't take this as offensive or controversial, but I must say it.

I would like to ask you guys to not gift me any presents from now on. The reason is rather simple. Recently, GOG has introduced a feature that should, supposedly, fight off the scammers and illegal traders, by limiting regional price to library purchases only. Perhaps, it works, but for me it also affects me in a weird way.

Because I am required to pay full price for gifting, I am financially not able to gift back any higher-priced games. For example, regional pricing allowed me to purchase and enjoy kerbal space program for myself, but not to giveaway it now. Now, its simply sadly out of question.

Thus, if someone gifts me the game, there is high probability that I can't return the favor to the community, which is why I withdraw from receiving any gift from this awesome thread - knowing someone must have to purchase it earlier with this goal. Hope you understand, and hopefully it will change someday.

You are great guys, keep it up.

Habanerose: v3 for Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate, The (Book Two)
I never thought I would be one sabotaging the flow of this majestic stream, but I have to join the veto club and with all respect and gratefulness refrain from redeeming any more keys from now on, at least until I have squeezed every little bit of fun left in present ones.

Thank you Habanerose for your thoughtful gesture :) It's the intention that counts and yours hit the target, maybe just not in the way that would satisfy your tagline, thankfully.

Hope nobody gets offended, it just doesn't feel right piling up. And the basic message of this wonderful community goes through even without hitting that 'claim' button, so thank you everybody once more and again!

I shall also be adding my name to "no gifts at the moment" list, as trent has just ninja dropped a ridiculously generous gift into my inbox earlier and I don't think I could accept anything for quite a while.

It would be somewhat ironic (but probably not surprising) if this giveaway eventually ended not because of a lack of gifts, but a lack or willing recipients XD

I think a simple calming of redemptions and a settling of the pool of games (not come to a complete halt though) from its drastic ebbs and flows, allowing it to pace a bit slower out over more months/expanse of time than the flash flood of noms/requests at the beginning of each month is completely reasonable and is no sign of the end times by any means, I think.

There's no rush to get them out, and I think it can more transition into a vault of sorts that has a great selection of yummy treats available for those that want them as they do. This is one reason I think personal requests for games from the vault are a perfecly good thing, to me it means someone really wants something enough to be like "hey, umm, would that be cool if I umm...got that yummy delicious morsel on the shelf right there?!", whereas at points nominations can (at times! in a loose analogy) be like someone offering you some food you don't want/don't like/just aren't in the mood for because you've had your fill of kekses and other sweets and tasty morsels for a while.

Also, when not filled up on yummy treats, one can feel more comfortable then at some point wanting to ingest an extra special sweet treat when it becomes available.

Pretty well put. People who think long and hard before taking something and will refuse if they doubt they're suitable or deserving recipients are probably those one'd want gifts to go to the most (which I guess is proven by this here), but while asking is pretty darn hard if you are one, being nominated for something you'll refuse may be even more awkward for all involved. So, as long as it'll remain as something for the active community and not a buffet that anyone can serve themselves from (because we all know what that will lead to, and very quickly, sadly), the idea of a vault of goodies sounds quite appealing.
Plus, back to nominations, sometimes it may be a case of being nominated for something but looking over the list and realize you'd actually want something else that's available, in which case it's even weirder, as just rejecting what you were offered and asking for something else instead would likely feel pretty... wrong, so you either reject everything or accept something you're not so keen on and give up on what you'd actually like.
(Just so there won't be any misunderstandings, just talking in general, haven't been in that situation and nobody told me they have been.)
Thanks to BenKii for nomination, to gnostic for his continuous generosity and to moonshineshadow for keeping this alive.
I nominate triock for Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate, The (Book Two)
I'd like to humbly ask for Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. As always, thanks for keeping this giveaway in place and trying to make the community a better place!

EDIT: Redeemed, thanks once again, and thanks to trentonlf!
