And it seems people are against the idea of "safe spaces" for some reason. Any idea why?

* First reply attacks the article's source (without actually looking at the article), and is already "high rated" (when it clearly should not be).
* Further posts have people starting to hurl insults at each other.
* Result: I, unfortunately, have to press the downvote button on many of the posts in the thread.
* (I wouldn't be surprised if the thread ends up locked.)

Ah friday the 13th the first time something happened on such a date, sprained my ankle when going from the bar which i only drank juice but had to play sport bets for my mother. Didn't see that there is a crack on our parking lot and my left foot went left and right on the unneven crack before i catch myself with the weight of my right leg and stabilize myself. Now have a swollen ankle and am cooling it off with a cold towel.

Sounds painful. When I was a lad I used to skin my knee from running too quickly on sidewalks and pavement, so I know full well about pain close to that and things that can happen when one is not careful.

I hope you heal quickly and get better soon, of that's any comfort.

I thought you compared the annoyance above with what every kid in existence experience ten times a summer or more.

Well my intent was not to denigrate the person's pain but to sympathise somewhat.

I also was talking not about the slight skinnings some youth would and do get, but the more severe kind that requires bandaging. I was a bit clumsy as a lad, you see.
