I'm thinking about quitting my job. I have no alternatives but I feel like I'm wasting away and the feedback is terrible. The job worsened my depression and I think I need to see a specialist.

Again, it's just a thought. I will probably stay until I find something I consider better.

Tut mir leid zu lesen, dass du unter deinem Job leidest und ich kann auch verstehen, dass du am liebsten da raus möchtest, aber ich muss dich warnen: Falls du deinen Job aufgibst und nicht eine neue Stelle findest, bevor ALG I ausläuft (ca. 1 Jahr, wenn ich mich recht erinnere), landest du unweigerlich in Hartz IV. Und das kann wesentlich schwerwiegendere Folgen für deine seelische Gesundheit haben, besonders wenn du an einen Arsch von Jobvermittler gerätst.
Mein Vorschlag wäre, dich erst nach einer neuen Stelle umzusehen und dann erst zu kündigen.

Ich weiß, aber es läuft hier sowieso auf ein Nichtbestehen hinaus. Das wissen die Ausbildungleitung, die Mentoren und ich. Ich muss zu ner Psych Beratung weil sich bei mir ein Substanzmissbrauch eingestellt hat. Dass es mir ohne jegliche, vertragliche Beschäftigung auf lange Sicht eher schlechter gehen wird ist mir ebenfalls klar. Es ging mir nur um eine kurze Durchatemphase. Ich kann auch nicht für ne Behandlung freigestellt werden, weil mein Arbeitgeber sowieso versucht mich langfristig loszuwerden. Da kommt ihm mein derzeitiger Zustand natürlich gelegen.

Es hat letztlich die Zusammenarbeit dreier Ärzte - Allgemein, Neuro, Therapeut - gebraucht, um einer Freundin von mir zu helfen, die sich ähnlich ausgebrannt hat, aber für sie war das deutsche System ab diesem Moment wundersam funktional. Drei Monate Krankschreibung, darunter drei Wochen wirklich sinvolle Kur/Reha. Sie hatte kurz davor schon gekündigt, aber die Arschlochagentur konnte ihr unter diesen Umständen nichts. ALG läuft für sie voll seit 01.01.2018 (nach, ich glaube, sechs Beschäftigungsjahren?).

Ist vielleicht die Ärztetouren wert. Ich weiß nicht, ob der Substanzmissbrauch da hinderlich oder förderlich ist. So oder so, bring das schnell unter Kontrolle. Bekackte Jobs haben die Eigenheit, dass man schnell aus ihnen rausfliegt. Die Sucht, die man sich einfängt, wird man nur sehr viel schwieriger los. :( :(

A country formed by at least 3 different ethnicities (some of them rivaling, even)... A country which Trump Himself and his colleagues (Dana Rohrabacher) publicly declared in the past "Fake Country", "which should be disbanded", etc.

What can somebody expect from reds... Not even 100 years ago, they caused a civil war this side, butchered even children and fought AGAINST the local breed/Nation, to giveaway land itself then, not even its name, to neighboring country with reds ruling it too at the time... To hell with them! I cannot wait for their demise. With their actions, they are so digging their own grave -again-. History is going full circles, apparently, he he he (and the illiterate stooges who never learnt it, or to be precise tried to extinguish it and still do, are so going to repeat it!)

I have complained about this before, but what the heck is it with some of these modern new home appliances?

Our dishwasher croaked last week, so I went to buy a new one. I liked one Bosch model for its features, like how the innards were, simple operation etc., and the price was pretty cheap too, about 350€ (450€ including delivery, installation and taking the old one to recycling).

So the new machine arrived today, and the installer said it needs to run first empty once, so he put it to run for the "Eco" program.

3½ hours! Why the heck does a dishwasher need to wash dishes for 3½ hours?!? My old dishwasher washed dishes in something like 1½ hours using the full program, and there was also a quick wash program which took only 30 minutes (but I generally just ran the full program).

In 3½ hours, I could wash all my dishes manually, AND make a full gourmet dinner for myself and my wife, AND wash the dishes again, AND go play Baldur's Gate and finish it in one sitting! This is insane!

And what is so damn ecologic about using electriciity for 3½ HOURS (!!!) anyway? Is it trying to conserve water by running a long time with low water or what? There is no drought in Finland, we have thousands of lakes to drown to! It is the ELECTRICITY that these "ecologic" home appliances should try to conserve, IT is the reason there are no rain forests in Amazon anymore or that all the dolphins are D-E-D ded!

To elaborate, yes the dishwasher is connected to hot water pipe, so it doesn't have to heat the water either, so no that is not the reason for its slow program. I am later going to try the full ("non-ecologic") program too, hoping that it isn't as insane as that ecologic program which takes ages.

On the other hand, my new-ish laundry machine (washer) was a more positive surprise as its washing programs are shorter than what my old washing machine had. I recall with my old laundry machine the 60 C cotton program took something like over 3 hours, while with the new one it takes max two hours, sometimes 1½ hours. A 40 C care program takes mere 40 minutes or so.
