First world problems coming up.

Bought some inexpensive handlebar tape to apply on the very smooth and very slippery bar ends of my bicycle. This being the first time I've tried taping anything on a bike, I made a bit of a mess of it, but the tape seems to hold on well enough for the time being. There's plenty left over for another go if the current tapes decide to fall apart anyway, so it's not a big deal. What really annoys me is that the tape came with two handlebar plugs (those caps you put on the end) made to look like carbon fibre even though they're not, and even if you decided to reduce the weight of a bike, surely bar plugs wouldn't be much of a concern. I totally get the idea of carbon fibre, but it is being used in many inappropriate applications, such as said plugs, and it's really rather vulgar and dishonest in my opinion.

And Doctor Who DVDs going out of print? Always planned on watching that show, since I am a Sci-Fi fan and I seemed to have missed this particular show...ah well.

They normally don't go OOP unless an imminent Special Edition is due with extra stuff on it, which is possible for a few (Inferno, The Green Death, The Visitation are re-releasing soon, maybe a couple of others). The R1 DVDs might be different, I guess.

There is a guy checking in this next weekend who treats his wife like a piece of furniture, and I don't mean a nice expensive one.
