500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Have any of the LucasArts games been on sale yet?

There were two Star Wars bundles and a LucasArts adventure bundle.

mrkgnao: Well...
Out of your 51 wishlisted items, 20 have been already on sale, plus 9 are in the mystery pool, and we have a couple of days still ahead of us (e.g. I would expect a Hitman bundle tomorrow).
All in all, I would say that quite a lot of your wishlisted games have been on sale.

Fairfox: DON'T BRING LOGIC INTO IT.
I didn't use logic. Logic is for wusses. I simply counted them on my 51 fingers.

Yes, I think two days ago, there was an adventure bundle with Loom, Indiana Jones, Secret of Monkey Island etc.
Boo! Like a chump, I sprang for the "Mystery Game" twice, and both times it was a Windows-only game! I understand that most of the games on this site are Windows-only, but there should still be a warning. Unfortunately, I will have to seek a refund--unless someone can tell me if it runs reliably on OS X 10.11.x with Crossover or PlayonMac.

Edit: The titles in question are: "Men of War: Vietnam" and "King's Bounty: Warriors of The North"

Lemon_Curry: I've been eyeing them for a long time unsure of which one would appeal to me the most. I've mostly hesitated due to all the criticism levelled at the driver's frustrating tendency to torpedo the windscreen at even the slightest bump.
The slightest bump is a bit exaggerated. It actually happens more often in Flatout 1. ;) In Flatout 2 you can drive more recklessly through obstacles. For me that's part of the fun with the game, but I'm not really a serious race driver. In both games there are even contests where you have to catapult your driver out of the car as high or as wide as you can. :)

At least in Flatout 1 there's an option to switch off that ragdoll physics, but I've never used it. I can try out how it works when I'm back home later today.

Lemon_Curry: Anyway, seeing that the first game is Nickelback-free I do appreciate your recommendation. ;)
You can even switch off the music in the games, in both of them. :P

Oh that's right. Do you remember if Rogue Squadron was in the bundle?

It would probably help if you mentioned the title in question.

That would spoil the mystery, no?

IronArcturus: Oh that's right. Do you remember if Rogue Squadron was in the bundle?
Yes, it has been in the Star Wars Blaster Bundle.
