This is community wishlist material. I just added Y U NO BUY? as a wishlist and for what Grargar said, my other wishlist fits like a glove: Public change log for all games.

I don't know if we should automatically get e-mail notifications on games that we own or we wishlisted, but if I had that option I would certainly enable it and my wishlist would certainly grow.

I would advise you to wait more. Not necessarily for a better discount (though it's always a bonus), but because while the game is currently fully up-to-date, there is no guarantee that it will remain fully up-to-date as the developer has slipped twice in the update department till now.

A combination of factors such as the DLC having been released 8 months ago on Steam (but not here yet), slow updates that took months to appear here and the developer replying to an e-mail inquiring about the DLC/updates, about how hard it is support multiple platforms.

Trine 3 is currently on patch 1.11 here at GOG (so says my library)... patch 1.10 was released here sometime around Nov. 6 according to the post in the game series forum, so 1.11 is more recent than that. If you want the exact date, I'm sure it showed up in the MaGog log if you go check that thread.

But has the patch fixed the issues with the game? I've read that Trine 3 has garnered a lot of negative reviews. It's a shame because Trine 1 and 2 were both excellent.

Sounds like something I'll want to wait to finish with DLC and updates completely before purchasing, then. So looking at a while to wait. Well, comfy chair, snacks, drinks... lots of other games to play in the meantime... think I'm good. ^^

There were 4 bundles at the beginning of the sale that lasted two days. From then on, bundles and deals will be lasting for only one day.

You're welcome! I'm beginning to recognize that the general consensus around here is NOT to drop open codes in the forums, but this one was expiring so soon, I felt it was the best option in this case. Anyway, I hope you like the game - I've had fun with it, but have yet to finish it.

I don't know if they are popular or not, but the idea I would buy would buy any unknown game, whatever the price is ridiculous. I don't buy crap games and if I don't know what game it is, it's a crap game, because it's unknown,

Franklly, GOG only has one or two games I even want to buy, not because there all crap, but because I have already got all the great games I want that GOG sells. Those one or two exceptions are mosly, games I already own on Steam, where they were originally released and I never really expected that GOG would ever release them.

When these games which, I already own arrive on GOG, I will get the GOG version and hide my Steam one forever.
Indeed the only game I own on both sites, that i've played and modded on Steam by choice, was actually one of the two games that led to me discovering GOG, because they were sold broken and unplayable on Steam,

Those were the Knights of the Old Republic games, so I'm forever grateful that Steam stole my money and as they had no refund policy , back then, they were the first games I hid on Steam.

When Steam's exclusive, "Upgrade" to KotOR II: TSL appeared, I gave it a look.
My Verdict is, good base game and with this game, I consider the Restored Content Mod to be part of the Base game, as it's unfinished without it. The problem is there "New and Improved", modding system breaks all the existing mods for the game. Indeed this is true for most games on Steam. The simple fact that Steam forces updates, for both games and Mods and that alone, can break all modded games and/or other mods.
Meaning the Steam client, an online only client , wihich has no functionality when offline and so has no actual reason to be run offline, must be run offline, to ensure many hours of hard modding aren't broken by Steam.

Now you can limit updates on Steam, to a single hour each day, when your PC is always off and gain some control over when a update happens, but they are still forced on you and as I've just discovered, game betas ignore this system or to be accurate, at least Fallout 4's Betas do.
So it's still got to be the oxymoron of an "Offline" Steam to mod games. Even when the games are very old like KotOR
II, Steam is currently independantly "upgrading" existing games to LInux for their Steam OS/Box drive. Which would be no bad thing if all owners gor these upgrades and also mods can always be updated years after the games release as well.

Making no change to my general rule, of avoiding Steam Workshop and Modding on Steam generally, like the plague.
Unfortunately, I must risk that plague, currently for Skyrim and Fallout 4 and yes the rest of the TES/Fallout series are my most wanted games on GOG.

So I don't want mystery games or chosen givaways of games, I don't want or more often, already own.
I'd like to get store credit as a reward, if anything. Then it will go towards games I actually want to own.
Getting a game I already own on Steam, on GOG as well, for a DRM free modding copy is worth every penny I spend, but I'd like to spend even less, rather than get a free game, I'll never play.

Currently 15 of my 188 GOG games, are hidden on Steam of the 123 other Steam games I own, I want to hide them all.

I don't know. I missed the first day of the sale and wanted to make sure "Morrowind GOTY" wasn't part of it.

It hasn't been featured in the Winter sale so far.
