500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

Paul31286: The first 24 hours are over, and there are no new deals. :(

Ugh, I had mistaken that as applying only to the bundles. So no new deals today, period. Hope they release a game or two. (And no, I don't count the new Dreamfall chapter as a game release, though it's still welcome.)
Whoa, I turned my back for a second and that squirrel disappeared from the homepage. Touché ninja squirrel!

Squirrel played "Sir, you're being hunted" and apparently lost. :)
Hey guys, is it possible to get a refund from a mystery game?
I forgot to give away the game I've got for free during the Big Fall Sale that I've already owned. Please hurry and grab it before the code expires.

System Shock 2:

Please replace the asterisk with the number THREE to get the working code.
Good call, physiq. I forgot about that.

I have a System Shock 2 code as well. Please message me if you'd like it. :)

gibbeynator: Think twice before buying those Star Wars games, there's probably going to be a much better deal when the movie comes out.
not sure. these things generally go a few weeks ahead. once the movie's out, the movie's out, they won't need videogame marketing. so maybe, but maybe not. the last time these games were on this sale was earlier this year on the anniversary. 77% is pretty high. the only two steps up are 80 or 85.

I get what you're saying but I'm not sure about it. these games have been on sale twice or three times since being at the 77% sale. I may get them. I'm christmas shopping so there's that. I don't really want the kotors, though. that's the thing to it. but I'll probably pick them up in the encore.

Seems more and more likely that we'll not be get something today, but tomorrow. Maybe bundled releases, maybe new releases in the form of daily deals or maybe both.
A few stray codes still sitting in my inbox.

System Shock 2

Divine Divinity

Soo.. Jedi knight dark forces 2 is better version here than on steam. I had literally none headaches to get it to work. Also I hear music.

What about those others: Academy and Jedi outcast? They are mostly the same than on steam?

Pretty much.
Just wanted to say that I, for one, really appreciate the 48Hr Launch Fest as I don't always check my email two days in a row. Genius, GoG! :)

I'm buying a Mystery Game just cause.... I'm gullible - and who doesn't like surprises! (Even 50-year-olds still like surprises!)

I also finally caved and got The Witcher 3. The new Epic trailer just released and the 50% off pricetag is too much for me to resist!

Anyone else using the Chrome browser and getting no pictures showing in the "Daily Deals" section of the main GoG page?

The "Highlights and Bundles" section appears just fine, the "Daily Deals" section shows as just empty boxes with game names in the middle, but the discount and price buttons are showing, and the "What's New" section below Daily Deals looks fine as well. On a whim, I disabled my AdGuard, but it made no difference. Shows up just fine for me in Internet Explorer.

IAmSinistar: Woo, got the email for this sale at 5:08 AM this morning. Timely as always, GOG. ;)
Lucky you, that's about an hour before I got mine. And some minutes ago I even got an email which tells me that some of the games on my wishlist are on sale. Fortunately the first sale lasts more than 24 hours. ;)

Had the same effect with Firefox during the last sale. Blamed it on bad Internet connections at that time. But something must be special with the Daily Deals (all the other images were working for me too).
