And yes gaming really helps one in hard times.
I also found that some youtubers producing gaming related content to be quite uplifting.

TheGrand547: Yeah, I've found that watching some youtubers can be fun, my favorites for gaming atm are: gggmanlives(for fps's and stuff), YongYea(for updates on more modern games), angry joe show(for the production quality) and total biscuit for his personality
