doesn't seem to be any issue with the http, and I was using the same IP for a long time; tried to use different IPs, but that didn't seem to help. I can still post replies when under the VPN, just not create new threads — and I can't leave reviews on games as well. GOG's customer support denies blocking any access and thinks it might be a DNS issue, but fucking with the DNS addresses and even using Google's public DNS doesn't seem to help at all.

I didn't ask about http. I asked about secure http, aka https. While a proper vpn should properly parse https, I'm not sure of what VPN you are using, or how it parses the https portions.
Can you download a game through the browser properly, or do you get 403s?

never had an issue with https either tbh, I use the https everywhere plugin in my main browser and everything else works fine. Tested this in other browsers as well ofc, but not sure how to test this in particular properly tbh. I use CyberGhost btw.
