Contrast has a strong story, the best art direction/art style of any game in recent memory, wonderful music and likable characters...and some of the worst gameplay I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I'm near the end of the game but the terrible gameplay is truly testing my will.

mari29: Altho, most restaurants don't use real cold glasses.

JMich: Problem is if the glass is frozen, not chilled. In that case it is possible that the beer will have small icicles formed due to the glass temperature, which does modify the quality of it. So depending on the restaurant, it may use frozen glasses (bad), it may refuse to freeze glasses (good) or it may have chilled glasses (better). Question is how many restaurants know why the frozen glasses are bad.
Right on !!

JMich: Why the ice? Why water it down even more?
If you want it chilled, have the glass chilled, but not to icing temperature. Or even better, drink the beer faster ;)

Gydion: You could always use a dewar.
Good idea. I hadn't heard of a dewar, so looked at your link and then googled it. I seldom drink, but when I do I prefer a Jack Daniels over ice. I can hear it coming now...why the ice ?!?

How do dewars work? The picture I linked is one imperial pint, 665ml.

Bit more than I'm willing to spend now, but I do want one eventually.

I was wondering the same thing. If they come in different sizes. And will they hold hot/warm beverages?

Of course. They keep cold things cold and hot things hot.

I think the best way to describe it is as a proof of concept demo.. because it's certainly not much of a "game". I did like the art direction and the music (although there needed to be more of it), but I thought the characters and story were terrible. Gameplay was ok, but unpolished and the game was too short to get a full experience out of it.

How does it know which is which?

I knew there was a rational explanation.

Although I do like the story and the characters, I think the story was at it's best early in the game and just gets weaker as the game goes on. One small thing I think would have vastly improved the gameplay would be configurable controls, the default keyboard/mouse controls are awkward and imprecise, for me anyway and as some of the puzzles require a bit of precision, the clumsiness of the controls just makes those puzzles annoying.
