This one is about the Resistance..... there are no other survivors.
-"Who sent you?”
-“You did. Thirty-five years from now, you reprogrammed me to be your protector here, in this time.”
"If a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too."
- Sarah Connor, Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Not in, since this doesn't look like quite my type of game, and I imagine there will be many people who would love it.

I have thoughts on the best giveaway rules, though.
1) Any - giveaways are the best by simple virtue of someone giving away something that'll make someone else happy.
1b) However, I really like innovative giveaways. Things that push the boundaries, frequently requiring a bit of effort from participants, making for an interesting and worthwhile exercise, to leave something valuable behind even for those who didn't win.
1bA) I did a giveaway myself a couple of years ago where the rules were determined by the participants (anyone could come up with as many rules as they wanted to; I excluded a few I didn't like, did a random pick from the rest (not picking just one, but many rules which all applied), and only entries which followed (all? as many as possible? I don't remember) of those rules were then eligible. I still like the concept, but it was a bit too complex / not explained well enough.
1bB) Much better examples of giveaways which are interesting in themselves, more than just for the prizes, are of course Doc's dungeon, fight club s, death's door and clown school, plus bjgamer's voyage of the cursed crew. (I really need to see what's actually on offer in that last one, as the drawing is close, but the game itself far overshadows the gifts.)
1bC) Similarly, I still clearly remember WinterSnowfall's giveaway of X3, where as a condition of participating, he asked the winners to keep a game-diary for the first 7 days of play-time. That's a hefty amount of time to play a game, but easily done in that particular game, and as a winner, I still very fondly remember my diary, and now, many years later, I still think about picking up the game again, just so I can continue that diary.
1bD) Also many other examples where I can't immediately bring to mind the details, but have memories of commenting about how creative and innovative and different/nice the concept was.
1c) Also giveaways which promote positivity. Your recent "say something nice about another country", pigulici's yearly birthday giveaways, and many, many others which take this tack.

solseb: 1. What is your favourite sentence or scene from the Terminator™ series
The ending of the first movie. Sarah's narration, the photograph, "He said there's a storm coming in", the music, then just her driving away and the inevitable future... chilling. Terminator 2 is a fantastic action movie in it's own right, but I still don't like how it disturbs the perfection of the original time loop and that ending.
Hasta La Vista, of course ;)

And my second top favourite:

solseb: 1. What is your favourite sentence or scene from the Terminator™ series
It's not deep or serious but I just love the line from Terminator 2;

"I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle."

BTW, thanks for the giveaway :)
Thank you for hosting.

My favourite scene: "Talk to the hand" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8Fyf4R-nzI
I'm in.

Naturally it is this scene. :-)
Thanks for the GA, I'm in.

Personally my favourite giveaways are the ones where we create our own character and a story revolving around the character. I don't think I exercise my writing skills much and those kinda giveaways are just really fun imo.
Oh, I'm definitely in for this one! Thank you, solseb!

My favorite giveaway rules are Doc's Fight Club's (and spin-offs) rules, and the ones with puzzles.

AND

My favorite scene from the Terminator series is when the T-800 is fixing himself in some run-down motel and takes out his eye to reveal the infrared camera underneath. He then covers it with a pair of sunglasses. That, or the one where Kyle Reese has just landed in Downtown L.A. and asks the cop what day it is, then what year, and then repeats himself. That, or Tech Noir. Like the whole thing. That, or... I'll stop now..

I'm in for Terminator: Resistance.

"What is your favourite sentence or scene from the Terminator™ series".

My favorite scene is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae-vZXu7gPA from Terminator 2 where T-1000 falls into the lava, killing him slowly.
Hi,

my favourite is this one:

Thanks
My favorite:

"I swear I will not kill anyone."

"Alright, let's go."

:-)
Im in.

Favourite quote would be from John Connor "You Just Can’t Go Around Killing People” in Terminator 2.

The qoute is hilarous as half of the plot of the franchise is based on killing basically every member of the Connor family.

Thank you for the new giveaway solseb! I doubt I will have luck a second time, but I'd like to be in. Good luck all!

"I know now why you cry, but it's something I can never do"
- The T-800, Terminator 2: Judgment Day

While it is a sad scene, it is also a poignant scene of transcending the limitations of the Terminator, becoming more human and understanding how we care for each other.
