Anyone know how to disable the damn head bob??

Nearly threw up last night, as it made me so dizzy. Kind of crept up on me as I was engrossed in the game.

Not sure if it was the bobbing either, but likely so. Perhaps the game has an odd frame rate or refresh rate or something.

Dug it outa my collection for old time sake and I dont remember playing it much. Maybe I had the same reaction when it was new.

No way to disable the head-bob, from what I remember. Unless there's a hidden text variable in some hidden file, or something.

How did you get it to work properly?! I've been wanting to replay Future Shock and SkyNET for a few years now.

Assuming you use a dosbox:

Mount your cd and mount the folder you want to install to. Install the large installation= puts files into the mounted folder you chose. Shock= play.

Use whatever dosbox you want.

edit:
Depending on your personal play option. Dont forget the cd switch on your cdrom mount:

mount d (insert the path here) -t cdrom

^^
That part people forget when playing with discs

Thanks, I'll try with DosBoxStaging, although the last time I tried playing it (many years ago), it was very slow or very fast. I couldn't get the DosBox settings just right :/

Staging latest stable seems to run it on auto rather well....that is because I forgot to tinker with it.....it was late. I didnt care either xD
