the second season of Batman was definitely worth the full price. as were a lot of telltales other games.
I actually feel kinda bad now about buying some of them during the sales.

Anime-BlackWolf: The size of a usergroup is not the problem, it is their spending habits we must think about.
Hm, good point. Maybe the players with the broadest taste who are the least picky and open for everything also tend to be the ones who spend the least on individual titles. I know I am; I do spend quite a bit on games, but with a few exceptions I buy all of them at high discounts, so that I can afford to buy and sample more.

Linko90: They mentioned a sale, I informed them we recently hosted one. [..] Please don't expect this will mean a sale will happen
If the games are going to be removed, however, please think about redoing another one!
Thanks for the explanations everybody. I hope they can find a way to keep the games available for purchase.
Will the games still work, if they shut down completely? After finishing an episode, you always get the statistics how others have played the game. If they shut down their servers, will the game still work, or crash with an error message?

Many people on GOG use firewalls to prevent games from phoning home. Seeing as most Telltale games were released some time ago and no one complained, they presumably work offline just fine.

Which games are we talking about?
I don't recall Bone, Sam&Max, Wallace&Gromit, Monkey Island, Puzzle Agent, Back to the Future, etc. ever showing anything? Is this a new thing?

Also, I would assume the games run without any problems, at least those from GOG and Humble Bundle.
If you mean those from Telltale's own store, they actually may refuse to run at all - there's some conflicting information about this.

As said, we don't know exactly what is going on or how it affects GOG selling their titles. We'll have more details this coming week.

I played Batman: The Enemy Within and Guardians of the Galaxy offline just fine. There are no statistics displayed and the game gives you a message encouraging you to log in to Telltale Account and that's it.

PixelBoy: Personally, I gave up my hopes of seeing Jurassic Park DRM-free, so I did yesterday, for the very first time in my life, buy a Steam game key from a third party reseller. I guess you can once in your life spend 99 cents like that?
At least I have some kind of DRM infected copy of that now, if the games get pulled entirely.
Well Jurassic Park was DRM-free on the Telltale store when it was still available. Don't know if the Steam version is also runnavble without Steam though.

DreamedArtist: Would have been cool to get a telltale games Metal Gear Solid series. but I was upset with the Ip's they worked on and could have done way better with more popular games like what I mentioned and Silent hill or something.

Hope well to all those workers and hope someone takes them in.
I dunno, after Homecoming, Downpour, and Origins for Silent Hill, and The Twin Snakes and Survive for MGS, I wouldn't really trust anyone but the original teams with those franchises.
This literally has no bearing on anything we've already posted. I'm not sure how many times I need to repeat myself for the message to sink in at this point.
I hope they can at least finish TWD final season.

I'm not talkiing about their older titles like Bone or Sam & max.

But TWD 1,2, 400 Days and Michonne are phoning home. I haven't played other newer titles.
