As a national music, is incorrect compared to other musics genre here I'd say Dangdut's more like national music than Death Metal as far I concerned (it's more like a American Country music but with Indian rhymes), While Death Metal or Underground is a music for the youth mostly junior high school kids to college student and some older people that's really into Underground scene.

Well, I lived in a city where's Death Metal are the major scene most of the rest of the cities in the Country, a lot of gigs and festival held at least once a week.

As for the President, He's more like to Heavy Metal than Death Metals music, last time He watched Metallica's concert at the Capitals.

Australia is pretty normal looking compared to UK and US I think. Mostly one story buildings though. Most people live in the suburbs, the city center is for businesses. I guess the average capital city is about 2million people so there isn't much need for congestion. It's hot, and in the summer everything looks yellow and dead. Peoples lawns are usually 50/50 yellow and green even watering once or twice a week. If you display confidence people will think you are up yourself (egotistical) and you need to counter every humble brag with something self deprecating. If you have a significant other then you don't dress up to buy groceries, people barely wear shoes when they're buying food. Strangers are happy to talk to you about anything, but equally happy to not talk if the other person isn't in the mood. People like sport or computer games, not that much overlap to be honest. DIY is popular, has your door fallen off? you ask your friend how to put a door on and go buy one from the nearest hardware store and do it yourself! (this is very different with different generations, I was born in 84). Only old people say "crikey" and other cliche catch phrases most people think all australians say. Every time I see a spider I kill it and make a mental note to spray more surface-spray to kill them. I spray flies when I see them. I don't think I've ever swam somewhere I'd worry about sharks and I don't remember the last time I saw a snake. Is this interesting? That's probably enough...
