Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, here is something special for you today. Merso X has released a new free fan game with our favourites turtles, called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Rescue-Palooza that you can download and start playing right now.

Merso X has created some truly amazing 2D platform games (based on various licensees) that a lot of 8bit/16bit fans will fall in love with. Back in 2014, Merso X released Power Rangers: Beats of Power https://www.merso-x.com/power-rangers-beats-of-power and I really recommend downloading it (especially if you were fans of the original Power Rangers game for the SNES).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza is a free fan-made beat-em-up game based on the TMNT. This game is described as an update and homage to the classic NES titles, with tons of characters playable for the first time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza features 60 playable characters, 17 stages, 4 Bonus stages, 4-player local coop, improved graphics, voice clips from the TV show, rideable vehicles and countless references to the original TMNT cartoon and toyline.

Seriously, this will put a retro-smile in your face so go ahead and download it from its official website. https://www.merso-x.com/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-rescue

Looks great! I immediately recognized the beach scenes from tmnt3.
I sucked beyond suck at this game. XD

Looking forward to playing this!
This game looks great. I just hope that IP holder will have no problems with that.
I remember how decent fan games of Metroid and Streets of Rage were removed by order from Nintendo and SEGA.
If you want it, you should get it before it's struck down. Looks great, and it has a LOT of love poured into it. But there's no way that the rights holders will let this stand with it still airing on Nickelodeon and the like. Get it while it's hot and still available.
Never heard of Merso X, but after watching some gameplay footage on youtube, they seem to make some really good games. I also really like the music for Rescue-Palooza. Of course it reminds me of the old Konami games, but I think the music isn't directly copy pasted.
I grabbed it just in case. Thanks for telling us about it, tiredliger!
Thanks, downloaded before cease & desist.
