That's the recipe for my duck. And it was amazing. It was my first time cooking it and my first time eating one outside of a restaurant and I liked mine the most.
It's a lot of work for a little bit of meat, but it beats the pants off turkey. Not that turkeys wear pants. But if they did. You know. There'd be a pant-beating happening.
tinyE: Ever had Turducken?
I haven't. I suspect it would make the dry turkey less dry and the greasy duck less greasy and give a little better balance. But I can't imagine the chicken-turkey-duck flavor doing any better than just pure duck. I suppose I'll have to try it some time. I wonder if KFC has a big bowl of turducken sadness.
Oh, also, if you hate my book, you can review it too. apparently people in the UK really hate my books. It may be the spiritual-religious tones that flow through them. Or I'm just a crappy writer. :) Either way, I still enjoy doing it and since I have the microphone... Er computer, you'll read every word I have to type!!! (Wedding singer reference)
To all the thank yous, you're welcome. To all the merry Christmases, and a have a happy new year!
