shto in a moment of ...weakness and broke down during the namco bandai sale last week and bought tales of symphonia

i am aware that this port of the game is balls
and off course the mod community rose to the challenge to fix this shit biscuit so namco doesnt have to

problem is which of these mods are actually the best to fix this cluster fuck ?
and are they actually compatible with each other ?

i'd rather install just one then several

so who can help me out to fix this mess ?

before i say fuck it and go back to playing oblivion again
Oh I had no idea it was a bad port. I think I have it on my Steam library somewhere. I will follow this thread for future reference.
TSFix is the one you want.

I'm not actually sure if it still works though. A recent official patch has fixed the 720p framebuffer lock and now offers actual proper resolution and AA options, but it still runs at a locked 30fps.

The 30 lock doesn't bother me that much personally as it's not a game that is dependent on twitch reactions, although 60fps would be nice.

I wouldn't waste my time. I hate the voice of those kids and the super clichê story. I was so frustrated that I wasted my money with this game that I uninstalled after 3 hours of gameplay and promised myself never to buy any Tales of again.

Btw, I usually like JRPGs.

Tales of Vesperia is actually good and while it still has some of the usual clichés at least it has a more likable main character (anti hero type).

is that so ? hm
last i heard of the game it was a rather piss poor port i dont mind the 30 fps lock either i mean i dont see much difference between 30 and 60 fps
i just want a game that doesnt suck shit from a technical stand point

have fun convincing namco bandai of that

oh look another flock of flying pigs !
I got it a few weeks ago myself, the price seemed good to try out a tales game and buying in HB from here gives me the additional $ discount. I still haven't started it though, and I didn't know it was a botched port, so please do come back and tell how you fixied yours so I don't have to bother looking it up myself.
Tried the game on the free weekend on steam and then bought it. The game plays fine even though I don't have a graphics card. (I know the game is old but not having a graphics card often causes problems even ports of old games) The port's limit is 30 fps but it doesn't' bother me at all but I'm used to playing games with even worse fps. If the game works on my pc it should work on yours.

Note, the game doesn't seem to use the mouse at all and took me a while to figure out the keyboard controls, is the only thing that bothered me about the port so far.

It seems besides the 30 fps, most of the problem with the port are fixed.

Note, the game at least as far as I have gotten is fairly cliche, but I typically like the cliches in JRPGS so I'm enjoying it.

intel hd cards used to be a shitload of fuck
but the intel hd 4400 in my laptop has surprised me more then once
it could be because it has an i7 backing it up but still
while they are not nearly as good as dedicated cards they arent as hopelessly outclassed as the gma 950 either

All of it is mine, yes. I'm very old fashioned and opposed to the idea of lending parts of it to others.
