2) no offers of F2P games, or games which were given away for free at anytime, like PID and Dungeon Keeper; all other games are fine.

Question to the rules/behaviour: If you want to take something do you have to PM the one who is offering or do you have to wait until the one who offered the game PMs you?

Apparently, it is still free on http://www.dlh.net. And there's a new free game there: Pirates of the Black Cove Gold Edition.

According to OP you shouldn't do it via PMs. I see that you already pinged BranjoHello so just wait a bit till his online again and he will contact you

If you reply to any post you "ping" a person who has written it because he/she gets a notification about it. That's what I meant because I can see that you made a replay to BranjoHello's post :)

Yes, thank you for the game. List is updated and Darkout (Steam) still wants to be taken (since I take it that I only can give the key if the offer is valid according to the guidelines). So I have to ignore the "Knights and Merchants" offer since it is a F2P game.

just to make it clear - those games on dlh.net are free for every one who registers but YOU DON'T get a key for them, but they are only redeemable via linking your steam account.
So even though you can always do that and you don't need a key for free game, a key to one still has some value (such as when the offer will expire)

So the offer of "Knights and Merchants" is valid according to the rules? I need to know if Darkout goes to AcidFlux.

Being that Knights and Merchants was/is being given away for free, then according to rule #2 stated in the OP, it's not valid for this thread.
