I don't know if anyone has posted this yet.
But, they are making Syberia 4.
I hope it is better than Syberia 3 was.
At least incorporate many Save slots, better controls.....

I honestly didn't even see the need for Syberia 3 (rated only 3/5 or "mixed" vs 4.3/5 or "very positive" of the originals). Syberia 2's ending was a perfect fit to 1, whilst S3 made questionable gameplay changes, combined the worst voice actors they could find with unskippable dialogues, designed puzzles around controllers (in a point & click PC franchise), combined puzzle breaking bugs (like a randomly disappearing cursor) with single slot autosave / "you can't manually save your game like it's a 1980's 8-bit console", added a cliffhanger ending no-one wanted, then for good measure slapped badly implemented Denuvo on it that slowed down the game ten-fold that also guaranteed it wouldn't be on GOG during the period of peak sales / interest...

Thank you very much for this information. Looking forward to playing this game. This is one of the things I love about this community. I learn about new releases I might not be aware of.

They're not going to call it Syberia 4 / Syberia IV. Clever, there's no need to remind people of the third entry in the franchise.
Some players would feel compelled to play the previous game, to understand the story, if it was Syberia 4. Until they read the reviews (which would possibly sow doubts about the quality of the upcoming game).

I hope the future of the franchise is not grim.

My wife was excited for 3 but she hates controllers. It was a bummer for her.

She could live on Syberia, Drawn, and solitaire.

Loved the first 2, third one was eh, ok I guess but same as some people complained it's the controls and the game was poorly optimized at higher resolutions. Hope they do a good job with this one and fix all the problems that plagued the old past title.

well kind of required it given the ending of Syberia 3. Although they clearly missed the Steampunk stuff that predated the term. Oscar was a token gesture. And well that ending was a dead giveaway that there would have to be 4th. I didn't hate it. I'll give it a better rating when the next one comes out. If they are smart and do so. Where they flunked was regular vs Deluxe. Not much difference. Reminds me of the Samsung S20 and 4-5 different versions of it. But in the world of games the reviews are harsher.

The series only had two games.

So is Syberia 4. still coming out?
