GOG.com you know I love you like a first born child. Please don't take my post as a criticism because I don't want to hurt your self esteem during your formative years.

Can you please consider dropping the price of Swat 3 now that you have released Swat 4 on GOG.com?

Swat 3 was released in 1999 and Swat 4 was released in 2005. It is a little unfair that both games sell for the same price of $9.99 USD.

Please drop the price of Swat 3 a few bucks to make it more appealing and a fairer price. I am sure Activision will approve of it if you ask them nice.

Thank you...now clean your room and do your homework!
And Activision can refuse this request even if they ask nicely.

Anyways, you're directing your response to the wrong party, really. You're supposed to contact Activision straight away to tell them about that. GOG isn't responsible for the prices of the games here.
I don't think price has a great deal to do with the age of any game on this site. Just like any other product, the price is dictated by what people are willing to pay for it.

SWAT 3 is still an outstanding game, offering a slightly different experience to 4, with a number of really excellent levels.

If you haven't got it yet and you think its too expensive, just wait for the inevitable sale. (I'm pretty sure you just missed one though)
What PMIK said too. About every old Final Fantasy game now has never been seen below $16 at full price with a few exceptions, and some installments are so old...
SWAT 3 should be 25% cheaper because it has one less SWAT than SWAT 4

But maybe SWATs are scored like golf, and the lower the number the better. That would make sense, since SWAT 1 is easily the best in the series ;P

Older != Cheaper. Phantasmagoria 1 is more expensive than Phantasmagoria 2, for the simple reason that #2 is pretty much universally deemed to be not nearly as good as #1.
Or raise the price of SWAT 4 to $14.99. :P

Or just wait for a sale, like how the game was on sale when SWAT 4 was released.

I'd prefer GOG find a way to officially support SWAT 3 (and Populous 3 and more) past Windows 7, but it is what it is.

That is Microsoft's fault. Windows 8/10 only emulates old 16-bit games in 32-bit colours.

As for people arguing with me about the price of Swat 3 needing to drop permanently...who would think that this is a bad idea? Leave it to the internet that people will argue about everything.

+1 LOL!

Seriously though, it's a tenner, surely it's worth a tenner regardless of which installment of the series it is?
