Hello!

Detailed tour by Miyamoto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1xmBC3-TSw (15 minutes)
There will soon be a Nintendo theme park called Super Nintendo World. It is opening in Universal Studios Japan. There will be an app and interactive wrist band. It's not required, but there's extra stuff you can do with it, like keep track of how many coins you have. The entrance to the park is a pipe from the Mario game. One of the first things Miyamoto shows is a pow block game. Speaking of which, there will be all sorts of other types of blocks scattered throughout the park. You can hit them for coins. There's also an underground maze. There's a point in the maze things get bigger. This is to simulate you getting smaller like in the Mario games. I thought this was pretty clever. It will have a gift shop with toys and merch. Snacks will have specialized Nintendo themed flavours. There are people dressed as Nintendo characters. I think the Mario and Luigi costumes look great. Even the cafe will have blocks and stuff. The food in said cafe will be shaped like Nintendo stuff. There's a coaster ride in Bowser's castle. The lights are meant to simulate actual candles. They even put the Mario Kart trophies on display. The grand opening is Feb 2021. There are other planned releases for these locations: Singapore, Hollywood, and Orlando.
What do you think? I think it looks great. I might not actually go due do logistics issues, but I'll still put it on my bucket list. The amount of detail that went into the park was incredible. Before watching the tour I thought they might just put a Mario sticker on some coaster ride and call it a day. Glad I was proven wrong. Everything from the lighting to the food has been thoroughly planned and crafted. I recommend watching the tour. I feel like some of Miyamoto's joy rubbed off on me. Apologies for any errors. My glasses broke and I'm having some difficulty proofreading.
