I find that running stuff under WINE with dgVoodoo is often the best way to go. But I have to first run the gog installer exe, which does not always work in wine.. It'd be super helpful if you could provide a .zip download for the windows games, just containing the installed game directory. I realize it'd void the support-warranty, but it would help a lot for us who are willing to tinker to get our games working.

Additionally, it'd be great if you'd provide unpatched binaries along.. For example, i own some gog titles, which I can't actually play on the hardware they were originally released for..

To the former, that's just not going to happen. There was a documentary by noclip that explains in detail the work GOG puts into the games to get them working on modern systems.

you can use innoextract to unpack the installer, just like a zip archive. without running the exe.
