Just noticed this and haven't seen it mentioned on the forums. Surprised to see this game coming to GOG not to long after release (by GOG standards anyway). Surely seems like GOG is making some headway here with getting more newer games other than the Witcher 3 that aren't indie, well I don't consider this indie anyway. Stronghold being a pretty popular PC series.

They are also doing some kind of contest were you can win all of there games on GOG...

You should post this in appropriate topic as more people follow it. Why the heck there's nothing about this on GOG, even on upcoming games list, we'll never know. GOG really needs to start posting games, at least new(ish) ones, in upcoming games list as soon as they're legally able and not if and when they feel like it like they're doing now.

This is really great news, I love the Stronghold series!

And FINALLY a game that releases with it's achievements!

Cool. But, will it be difficult for one if one does not use Galaxy? Like how AVP was?

If you don't use Galaxy you will lose online MP and achievements, ect like any Galaxy powered game, but you will be able to play the game without Galaxy though if you want in single player, LAN (not sure if this game has LAN however), or whatever other non Galaxy features the game offers. Galaxy was only temporarily bundled with AVP, it no longer is now.

Possibly because the game has already been released. GOG has only put games on the upcoming list that are upcoming everywhere.
GOG also said they don't put definite dates on these things because problems might occur in the process of bringing the game here at the last minute.

This is good news. I really hope the game is good. Does anyone know? The reviews on Steam are mixed.
