HereForTheBeer: Maybe a translation problem here. In the US, "go nuts" doesn't mean something is crazy. It's more like "go for it" or "have at it" or "don't let me stop you". Something like that. So I could rewrite the blurb as "then don't let me stop your use of..." Speaking for myself, I tend to use it in cases where it's something that I personally will not be doing. In this case, feel free to use a content-block script if you want, but I choose not to. One could interpret it as "go crazy", but that doesn't imply that the thing itself is crazy.
Starmaker: More like an unfortunate side effect of text-only communication + lack of personal familiarity. I know what "go nuts" means as an imperative, but it does carry a connotation of indulging in something to the extreme. My point is that filtering is as natural and unnoticeable as air, conspicuous by its absence. I didn't for a split-second think you were calling me crazy or anything. (^ Look, I can use "conspicuous" in a sentence! Last week, my Russian boss decided to spell "standard" ending with a T, fought me over it and "won" by using the quarterly bonus as an argument! Will people ever believe I know English?! *ironic sad smiley*)
Anyway, I see what you're saying overall. We just choose to approach the matter in a different way. If your results make you happy and my results make me happy...
