There´s nothing transphobic in the tweet, or in the Cyberpunk "Did you just assume my gender" tweet, pcmasterrace isn´t offensive, gamergate isn´t about harassment and the Postal 2 tweet was funny. Stop caving to the always offended mob, they´re not your customers.

All the "The Gamers"-"movies" have been pulled already because of this tweet.

Phat respect to Linko (or whoever posted that tweet)! The movie section was an embarassing pile of shit anyway and could have used some decluttering.

At least GoG has learned something this time around. Their apology was a lot more flippant and they didn't apologize to resetEra - the ones posting employee addresses and threatening to send bombs, also banning anyone who profess to be GoG's customer.

Now if GoG could only learn not to post such things in the first place.

Concerning the "controversy", they saw a trending hashtag, used it in a tweet, discovered why it was trending, removed it.

In the real world peoples would have realized it was just a mistake and it would be the end of it, but it's not the case and you have the usual dummies going berserk, way too happy to have something new to be offended by, and of course you can can expect plenty of click baity articles from the usual sites on the subject too.... business as usual...

I'm nearly forty. I've supported GOG since it basically went online. It was quite a cool way to play some games I had experienced when I was young. I've spent more than 1000€ on this store.

I'm also very, very tired by these "jokes". I've stopped shopping some places IRL for much less.
