dnovraD: I'm not going to say GOG Galaxy is bad, but I will say it was much better in the original form it was; though I reject the idea of glorified Chromium box apps (Electron) anyway.
Though, the ideal way of Linux support I'd give would be tar.gz or Appimages.
A bit off topic but I sometimes use a simple helper program written in Java wich "recently" got a electron version and while the size is oders of magnitude bigger (like 1.5MB to 150MB, if we do not count the JAVA Runtime install), it performs so much better on modern hardware. I guess my point is, Electron apps have their place :)
