sg accounts need to be synced, it only happens once per week (if you don't sync manually)

Yah, you need to sync your account once a week. If you don't do it yourself manually, Steamgifts will do it for you.
There's probably more information in the FAQ but I haven't read it in a while so can't remember exactly.

By the way, does anyone have an idea how the private weblinks work on Steamgifts so I can link to a giveaway from another website?
