Yes, and that can take up to 7 days from the day he was removed from the group.
The system will automatically sync every 7 days, which can be annoying, if it occurs at a time, where the's a Free Weekend offer going on.
Supposedly private profiles are excluded from giveaways until they sync themselves if they miss the weekly deadline.

they just removed a few and made some games pack only buys. this happens alot though. normaly its cause contracts run out or publishers are changing hands. i own 13 removed games now and you can still download and play it as much as you like.
