fartheststar: (all, since this is my first post let me know if I need to do anything else when I do a group giveaway. There's mentions of invites but I've never done any of those, so I'm hoping a group giveaway should allow everybody to see it and enter if they like. thanks)
Everything looks good and properly done for both giveaways ;)
Congrats to roelibex who won my Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack giveaway!

Beckett won my giveway for One Finger Death Punch, but he already won the game from Mrstarker, so please redeem that key, I will delete mine.
OK, sorry about that Enigma. I'll redeem the code from Mrstarker's giveaway.

Hi Azreal,

I've searched and haven't had luck for this. I apologize if this is posted somewhere, but I just can't find it. Does the goggift group have a link on steamgifts similar to this?

(here's an example for another group )

He he, again I was "ninjaed", this time by Trentonlf (:P)

Just wanted to add, on SteamGifts if you see a green icon with a little person inside (head and shoulders, sometimes alone or with the name/s of the group/s) in any giveaway for groups you belong, if you click over that icon you will see a list with the groups that giveaway was created for. In that list, if you click over any icon or name of those groups, you will be able to load and see the link for that group on SteamGifts, just as you wanted ;)

Ahh. I learn something else here. Thanks, that is useful.

Question: Why do you think so many of the giveaways have so few (or no) entries in many cases? Do most here mostly have all the games they want, or are folks afraid to enter giveaways because of the ratio? I was really surprised by this.

To get a feel for things I was looking through the history for the group, and my favorite game on Steam based on over 370 hours of play (Defense Grid) actually was given away and had "0" entries, and had to be given away again to find a taker. Lots of other seemingly good games might get only 1 or 2 entries.

I guess I'm trying to figure out why there are so few takers? thanks for any insight.

My opinion is, giveaways with few or zero entries are usually from games that have been many times in different bundles, and thus, most -if not all- of the members already have them, even if the game is actually really great. Every time a non-bundle giveaway appears it gets many entries, practically confirming that "the ratio rule" is not an issue.
