Hello Im intrested in star wars battlefront 2 on gog. is online multiplayer still going ?

From the game's store page I found the following:

"Multiplayer notice: The game's multiplayer servers have been taken offline, however, multiplayer over LAN is still available."

... although the more disconcerting limitation follows that ...

"AMD compatibility notice: Star Wars: Battlefront II does not support AMD Crimson Edition drivers 15.12 or newer, and requires version 15.11 (stable version) or older drivers."

Not sure if that's a game I own yet or not... I own 17 or so Star Wars games and haven't tried them all yet. :)

ok, I just tried

It is working with AMD catalyst control center version 2015.0728.2244 on W8.1

For multiplayer, the servers are offline, but multiplayer via LAN or VPN is still working. The servers are out of hand of GOG (gamespy)

Wouldn't it have been funny if Battlefront 2 came with that message printed on the back of the box? I wonder how well it would have sold. Probably not very well at all, huh?
