wizisi2k: just spend the $99.99 for the lifetime edition and never worry about the DLC cost again.

DampSquib: That would be fine if it was here, it's not, earl access, no thanks, but the idea of it all rolled into one is good.
$99 - isn't bad tho, that's around 80 coins of the realm...when it gets DLC'd up the wazoo, that could turn out to be good value....or not.
1 thing that has not been mentioned on the official forms in ANY capacity is the game joining GOG as a in-dev title. Hell right now there's nothing for anybody to play-even with a screenshot/video NDA in effect (if there was, I couldn't tell you much about it because of the early state). Discussion isn't affected just the first two. Go ahead and post on the forums asking about adding the game to GOG as a in-dev title for the lifetime edition. I am sure people will join your request asking for it. To be honest, the game was announced yesterday. I'd expect SOMETHING to show up around March that doesn't have an NDA policy attatched.
To be honest, when paying for it I had to note the little attention mark that said there's a NDA for screenshots and video and then click accept when the same popped up in order to complete my order. Stardock is on here with many of their recent titles so it's not a stretch for it to come here (or to show up in the complete series tab when it does show up for Star Control).

Designers watched too much clay animation, the game looks horrible. Music is genetic ambience, not the catchy electro from Star Control 2. I don't understand what were they thinking?
