Following the ongoing clusterfuck that is the release of Ys VIII on PC - NISA have pulled the (already limited) demo keys from Steam and delayed the release of Disgaea 5 by two months days before release... AGAIN

Wow.... That's just. Amazing. That's almost approaching 3D Realms levels.

Considering that:s a benchmark, what happened with 3D realms?

Also, i:ve only read bad things about NISA in regards to Ys 8 I think.

NISA is a games publisher/importer of Japanese games to the West, afaik. They do a lot of localization work. 3D Realms is notorious for delaying the release of Duke Nukem Forever to the point that 3D Realms never actually released it, and another game that WAS released, Prey (2006) was delayed since '99 or 2000 if memory serves.

Not nearly on the same level, I know, but I was exaggerating for dramatic effect :)

NISA always had issues here and there and sometimes didn't pick the best games either but yeah i'm not too shocked about this. It sucks but after Ys VIII it's not really a surprise.
