mobeck: Holy Smokes you guys! I just started playing Space Quest 4 and it has full voice narration! I haven't played this since it was on floppy disks so this blows my mind.

Does Kings Quest And police quest have the same? Now I regret passing on kings quest.
I just bought King's Quest and haven't played yet, but I recall many complaining that the only version of KQ5 was the fully voice acted version, so I would suspect so, yes.

Wish GOG had medals or something we could give out to those folks who take it upon themselves to main THE LIST, and are always ready when summoned (usually at the sound of a gong)! :-)

Seriously, I personally appreciate you two (and anyone else who has contributed to) maintaining THE LIST!

Thank you!
Good guess with the pattern. :)

You're making me anxious to get SQ and PQ now! :P
FINALLY! After over a day and a half later, I finally get to get Theme Park...That's a LOT of copies though....shoot. I hope this goes quickly for everyone else though.
Hope there are a ton of Theme Park super fans out there or this could take awhile...
1400 copies??? Maybe Gog.com is trying to tell everyone to call it a night and check back in tomorrow morning....

Kaitu: During the fall sale I'm pretty sure everyone was losing their minds. Thankfully this time was more streamlined.
we probably have a couple months to prepare for the next insomnia sale, organize a community wish list so when a games comes up we know how many people want it and how many of them are away and going to miss it so someone buys it for them

also maybe make a greesemonkey script that creates a floating panel showing what games have come up and what ones have not yet, so we don't have to keep posting the list every 20th post.automagically updated with pidgeot's parser
Well, I managed to not miss the games I would like last night after finally going to bed, and surprisingly while I was at the hospital today I also somehow did miss most of the games I wanted :D

But now we've got theme park at 1400...it seems like gog is trying to screw me -_- :P

sune42: OK, I need to buy another game from this like I need a hole in my head, but ...

Theme Park?

I played Roller Coaster Tycoon a million years ago. I know it's a knock off of Theme Park. Is Theme Park worth it, or should I think about getting RCT again if I want to shoot people off roller coasters into space? AKA their doom

Thanks
I personally enjoyed Theme Park much more than RCT. The management was more fun, and the game is just loaded with charm. Plus, there are full motion videos of riding all the different rides. Now, I bought the game again recently (as I last played in 1997) and I don't think it has aged well at all. If the roller coasters are what you are most concerned about, than RCT is probably going to be enough for you.

If experiencing a charming but dated theme park sim with a GREAT management experience, than go for it. Remember to read a manual first, though, because everything is done through hot-keys and keyboard shortcuts. The GUI was amazing for it's day, but that was when not much was expected out of one. there are many management screens that can ONLY be accessed through keyboard shortcuts.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, Space Quest, and Quest for Glory are the three I'm still waiting out for...I don't know if I can hold out for another sleepless night, though.

Yeah... You are right... ZZzzzZZzzzZZzzz
Jeeze, are they kidding? I love Theme Park, but 1400 copies? Let's hope I'm more wrong about this than I was about Riven.
