Stilton: Apologies for that, I had no idea they were iffy - message removed.

FoxySage: You and HypersomniacLive should probably remove the link from your quoted posts too. :Else it doesn't really help that much. :D
My entire message has been removed.

Alxael: That's an incredible relic!! And now everyone can have Lost Vikings for free in the Blizzard's page.
Yep, and also have Warcraft: Humans vs Orcs. First one in the series.

Thanks so much for the list! +1

And yeah, I hope #42 is Theme Park as well.

Or Sam and Max, whatever makes people happy :] I have no stake in this, lol.

legoking777: To be perfectly honest, this has got to be the best online community that I have managed to find. I know I'm new around here, but I've seen several members try to answer every question they can, even if the question has been asked before. I've also seen more generosity here than I have anywhere else, even on the whole subreddits dedicated to gifting games. Thanks for all the help so far, and thanks in advance for any more help that I may or may not need during the sale.

During the fall sale I'm pretty sure everyone was losing their minds. Thankfully this time was more streamlined.

vulchor: The difference being that Firefox offered a choice. Because Silverlight is a plugin, you didn't have to use it. Now that the code is built in, people won't necessarily know that the content they're playing is using DRMed proprietary code, even worse because if they're using Firefox they might be inclined to believe that it's not based on Mozilla's reputation of being open-source.
avatar
Torin68: Exactly wrong.

Firefox is still offering a choice. So far, most of the stuff I'm seeing here is based on third party opinions. Check out the original Mozilla piece. https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/05/14/drm-and-the-challenge-of-serving-users/

Also, try this for a simplified look at how it will work. http://www.engadget.com/2014/05/14/mozilla-bends-on-drm/
When I have time I'll dig into it further, the few articles I'm still reading on it make it seem even worse than I first thought, especially after finding out that W3C has made it even easier to add DRM to content in HTML5, thereby further legitimizing its existence.
Kudos to the promotional video on the Trine 2 page. Great job demonstrating the look and feel of the game (at least I assume so, I have not played it) In this type of forum, promotional videos that don't show at least part of the actual game seem like a waste of time. IMHO.

Losing their minds and lighting the forums on fire ;)
Trine 2 is so pretty, I wish I liked platformers.

PS Thanks to all who've been posting the list of games past, present and future. Its been very helpful, maybe if I can stay awake I'll get Police quest and maybe Long live the Queen this time. But if I don't I'm sure it'll go on sale another time. I am having fun just watching the games go by and reading the forum. lol

Thanks, but I can't take any credit... I didn't know whether zillatain was still here, so I just did a cut-and-paste from several pages ago, then added the current game. lol :-)

EDIT: Sorry, zillatain... wasn't sure if you were here anymore. :-)
Oh I'm still here. I was just waiting for the next game to come up before posting the list.

Thanks for the heads up! I downloaded Blackthorne a few months ago, but I didn't know they had added Lost Vikings too. +1 rep

Tarnicus: The next one will be... *drum roll*

19. Driftmoon - 100% off ($0.00) - 001

And it has Melhelix's name on it! You've been wanting this for a sleepless eternity, so enjoy :)
Thank you so very much Tarnicus! I am truly in your debt.
