You can always put your own (GOG associated) email in the respective field during checkout and give the generated gift code later to whom ever you like. :-)

This is how it works.

To be precise, to get the gift code, you write your own email and the code is thus sent to your email. Then you can send the code to the recipient via PM.

Yeah, but how do I get the code? I just tried selecting 'This is a gift order' and then it asks me for the recipient's email address, which I don't know yet.
I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here; just can't figure out what it is :-)
