For me, GOG is not a store. It's a gaming community. Anything gaming related can be discussed here, without the "Nope, sorry, this isn't allowed here".
As for the games in the current Humble Bundle, Saints Row, Metro and Dead Island are not here. So it's not a conflict of interest, the same way discussing wine in a place that sells beer isn't. Sure, both are alcohol, and you may only have a limited budget for it, but not both places sell the same product.

And if I find my favourite beer somewhere cheaper than in my favourite pub, I will tell my bartender that there is that offer, and let him see if he'll drop the prices or entice me in some other way.

Yes, for some reason my main computer uses GMT, but my laptop uses UTC (probably because I use different browser versions). GMT and UTC are essentially the same thing, and all times should be no more than a couple of seconds off (due to slight delays in GOG pushing out the new game, small clock desynchronizations, etc.).
