KyleCS: How can I gift a freebie game I already own to someone? Haven't seen an option to do that. I got Duke Nukem 3D for free and don't want it.

Spinorial: Go to your Games library. At the top, go to the tab "Gifts". There you'll see all the gift codes you have, past and current. Just click on the one you want, copy it and either post it openly (likely to be grabbed by a random passer), or PM it to someone who says they want it.
Seems that doesn't work with a freebie game? No codes are shown in "Gifts", even though I'd like to gift to someone else the Duke Nukem 3D I got for free.

KyleCS: I already pressed that but there's nothing in there. I think that shows gifts I might receive, but not what I gift to others? Sorry, never done this before.
You have to select it to be a gift when you purchase it.

Could you imagine the game company that makes Hitman just killing him off at the end of the last game of the series, just so they would have an excuse not to bring him back? I can't, unless they wanted to switch up the games they made.

IAmSinistar: If you didn't already own the game and got a freebie, then the game went onto your account directly. You won't have a gift code for it.
Ah makes sense! If the game is in my account directly w/o gift code, it can't be PM'd to someone else?

So technically, I'm stuck with the game?

stg83: Did you have the game in your library before you got it for free? If not then you can gift is since it will be added to your account.
