Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****
****NO IT'S NOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY PERSON

Sylenall: Want to know the sad thing about this? Jack Keane may have taken for bloody ever, but EVERY SINGLE copy of it has/will ultimately be sold.

How many games and how many devs are not going to get a second(or third, if this loops again) chance to sell because this sale took 4+ hours? It's not just customers getting the short end of the stick here.
It's not as if it really benefits GoG either. They're missing out on a lot of money because of this. I'm sure they're not very happy about it.
Well I've got to give it to GOG, they promised insomnia and they delivered. I felt so bad about 'just' missing the chance to finally pick up thief; I figured I could wait around and see what else would roll in that I could snag to make up for a missed opportunity. It just hit 1am where I'm at, I've haven't been up this late in years, and the better part of the time's been spent staring at what I'm starting to think is some uncharted fan art. Watching a bar slowly, so painfully slowly, trickle down to hopefully -one day- single digits.

Curse ye Jack Keane! I curse thine name and all they spawn from hence and then to come!
All of these reviews must be exquisite descriptions of this masterpiece and landmark in gaming history. :D
So says Mr. Stewart.
I predict the next game gone in seconds, just because everyone buys one out of pure happiness that Jack is finally gone.

Lionel212008: Somebody should write a review about how jack keene has been banned in several countries due to the graphic nature of its content and bouncing boobies...
I see you volunteering..;)
Come one guys! 17 more of these suckers to go.
Someone photoshop a picture of Jack Keane holding a gun to GOG's head please.
17 left. Please let some Nigerian prince buy them all.
17 left!

It just took off all of a sudden.

I'm thinking people are finally snapping after having waited so long and just buying it to get this over with.

I know my eye is starting to twitch staring at the screen, but I only have enough left on my card to buy the three games I want, buying this would cost as much as all three of those combined.

Judging by how slow this game is selling and how few are willing to get rid of this cockblocker even for humanity's sake and a middling cost to their wallets, I think that this sale of 100 copies must have boosted overall total sales by 50% or more.

The is no end date for the promo. Its when stock at these prices 'runout"
Well I'm glad I was wrong then, Guess it just sucks for people like me who will miss all the good games when I'm working tomorrow.
Would it be epic if the next sale was for Jack Keane 1?

Kyusumu: I can't believe you guys didn't put a timer on these sales...

What is it at now? 4 hours? So funny :-D

KEAAAAAAAANE!!!

Ihear_BlueColors: A timer would make you really despair. I'm pretty sure it's at least six hours. If not seven...
It had just started at 1900 Pacific, I know because I had somewhere to go, 2300 now so it's just over four hours.
So, for how long has gog been jackkeane off?
