Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.

Okay... after multiple days and nights following this sale and thread, it has caught up to me. Constantly nodding at the computer, so going to call it a night and attempt a full night's rest.

Then errands to do tomorrow morning, so not sure if I will catch anyone during this sale again. Will stop back when the opportunity arises.

In the meantime, good luck fellow GOGers all in your purchases! May your games arrive for sale swiftly.

Sure, man, whatever you say. Now could you please follow forum rules and stop going off topic and spamming? You can surely continue discussing the subject on private messaging.
I'm all for informing the ignorant masses and grow them a political conscience to help them making informed decisions instead of acting like mindless sheeps because of subtle habit manipulations by media and goverments, no kidding, i mean it, but there's a place for anything and it ain't this one.

Actually biologically, all of us including you guys have been biologically female at some point; the fetus is more 'female-like' and is then masculine during development. Lack of sex hormones in development leads to a child who is much like a bio-female. That is to say, women Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome are XY males who develop as females, but are sexually non-reproductive. Most people with that syndrome identify as female though.

RichterSnipes: Nah, I've seen many games offered for free more than once. That was the second time I saw Reus offered as a freebie. Same for many other games. To add to that, there's going to be many games not offered for free at all.

As a biology undergrad I must... respectfully disagree with that theory. Epigenetics do exist, though. A stressed mother can accrue enough changes in certain genes for that to impact the genetic expression of her child if that child is conceived after that, leading to the child being more prone to developing 'stress' in the biological sense of the word. In Rhesus monkeys at least.

What do you guys think? Is the EE collection worth it? or do you still prefer the old collection? (i personally have both)
Don't think price wise, lets pretend they both are priced the same.

Yeah but that is the give and take aspect.GOG is providing some great deals but also moving a lot of copies(which can take some time, especially in round #3)...in the end it's all good imo.
