Deals so good, you won't want to fall asleep.
You remember back when you used to walk into a store, browse the shelves, pick out a game, and then buy it--all in the actual real world? We don't know about you, but most of us at GOG.com have had our limbs atrophy to small vestigial nubbins since all of our shopping happens online these days. Of course, one thing that sometimes happens in real world stores with real world goods--particularly when they have a good sale--is that they run out of stock. Usually that means that the deal was so good that they couldn't keep up with demand.

Well, in the digital realm, this is usually pretty rare. How do you run out of stock on digital games, short of entropy devouring the universe? Well, we have gotten 101 games that will be on sale on the front page of GOG.com, but the discounts are so high at the moment that we can't just sell an unlimited number of copies of these games: we are only able to sell a few at these discounts--up to 80% off--and once they're gone, they're gone.

So what games will be on sale in our Insomnia promo? Bestselling classics and new games alike. There will also occasionally be some free games in super limited numbers (like, 20 or 30 copies)--if you're fast enough on the trigger finger to pick 'em up, that is. The deal will run from now until we're out of "stock" of games for the sale, and games may show up more than once. So it's time to bathe in a tub of coffee*, dip some espresso**, snort an energy drink***, or do whatever else it takes to stay up so you don't miss out on the best deals on fantastic games on GOG.com since summer.
*This is probably not a good idea
**This is definitely not a good idea
***This is totally safe, though****
****NO IT'S NOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY PERSON

ChocoboSlayer: So how is Miasmata? Does it have any sort of rewarding sense of progression?
Brutalmoose does a really good review on this game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyPF-GD-XPA

Bonshea: I'm well into my fourth day of wait for that game.

Velgor: I keep wanting to kick myself for just watching Jade Empire go by on the first round and shrugging it off. Naw, I don't want that. Then I realized I'm insane, but it was too late...I've been waiting for days to fix that error...
I actually tried buying it both times when it appeared, but was greeted with an error message then an expired offer notification shortly after, each time. My primitive, and only, i.s.p has made this whole promo less then... fun, for me.

groze: Oh, no, please don't tell me I missed Assassin's Creed, that was the only game on this list I really craved! I was out walking my dog! Does anyone have a Neverwinterscape: Torment Starve for Nexus Shock and Jupiter Thief 2: Overrated Edition extra code? Now I'm really bummed, GOG sucks. Come on, Miasmata, stop keaning, lawlz! Adventure fans, grab Miasmata!

Craig234: Obamacare is a hugely good and important thing just for that change for those millions of people. Before, if they could fnd any policy available, it could easily cost several times as much as for others, which many can't afford.
avatar
Khalaq: And still can't. Anyone who doesn't qualify for Medicaid or Medicare ends up paying more. In most case, considerably more.

I wish they'd fixed the dang health care system long ago. Now, we have Obamacare, and that's screwed everything up even worse than before.
First of all, that's wrong. For one thing, there are new subsidies for lo income people as well as the increased eligibility for Medical by increasing the income limits, for states who accept it and don't play politics and refuse the money. For another, all kinds of changes have reduced the price of healthcare - especially the new exchanges increasing competition among insurers to sell policies. Study after study shows a lot of policies going down in price - and the overall increase in healthcare costs is at the lowest rate in 60 years.

Second of all, the program has not made things 'worse'. It has all kinds of improvements.

The 'worst' thing is that some people, mostly young people who might have gone without, pay more - but they'll benefit from the same thing eventually from other young people.

I'd prefer to see a single payer system, or at least a public option, but Republicans killed those choices.

Why would we stop there?
I need to sleep for my midterm exams :/
Every time I close my eyes I just see a little white bar slowly ticking down from 400. My greatest nightmare is when it goes from 399 to 400!

Buenro-games: Always best to ask in the games forums. Just click on top COMMUNITY and type the forum you want. Usually get what you want really fast.

itchy01ca01: My bad. Was looking around for the forum but couldn't find it. Thanks :D
The quickest way to find a forum link is to click on the game in your "My Games" link (under My Account at the top of each page); the forum link will show up at the bottom of the game's info.

Another way is to click on "Community" (also at the top of each page), and type in the game's name in the search box next to "Game specific forums" on the left hand side.

I'm sure someone would be willing to trade you a key for a copy of Dragon Commander. )
Miasmata looks kind of neat in a way I've never heard of it.

You could try the old osmosis theory and use your text books and notes as a pillow while you wait around here. Seriously though, good luck with those, hope you score well.
Idly wondering what turd will be unveiled to torture the all-nighters in the U.S. with its nonexistent progress.
