This is the official thread for reporting suspicious activity on the forums. If you see any bots breaking the rules by spamming, advertising, posting shady links to weird websites - report them here! Moderation Team will do their best to keep such posts to a minimum but, as you might imagine, it's impossible to keep an eye on every single thread 24/7. That's why we need your help, anti-spam force! :)

Big kudos to everyone who created and contributed to the unofficial thread!

Only report bot accounts/spam in this thread. Its purpose is not to report other users. If you see a user who you believe is breaking the rules, message Staff privately instead.

Kudos to the GOG team for taking an extended vacation/being on strike, but there should be one person at mains to monitor the forums, it isn't a hard job, just one that much like a middle aged former mom in the position of a homeowner's association, would be far too much power for me to wield.

I had this nagging feeling u/tlFV1KiDoVRFM86m is a bot for a while now. But after another user agreed it seems like a bot, and finding a community wishlist by it for a GBA game that was, up until yesterday, officially canned for the past 20 years, I think it's safe to say it is a bot just sending whatever game titles it can find in its source.

Edit:
Another post for the same game created by it, but with another of the game's proposed names. I'd imagine a real person who knew about this cancelled project would at least do the homework and know it had multiple names.
