This is the official thread for reporting suspicious activity on the forums. If you see any bots breaking the rules by spamming, advertising, posting shady links to weird websites - report them here! Moderation Team will do their best to keep such posts to a minimum but, as you might imagine, it's impossible to keep an eye on every single thread 24/7. That's why we need your help, anti-spam force! :)

Big kudos to everyone who created and contributed to the unofficial thread!

Only report bot accounts/spam in this thread. Its purpose is not to report other users. If you see a user who you believe is breaking the rules, message Staff privately instead.

Pajama: Agreed. I even sent a PM in April to Clownski_ who is supposed to be the forum moderator but never even got a reply. GOG have had plenty of easy suggestions in how to alleviate the flood(s) of spam/bots so i don't understand why they are just ignoring it. All I can say is a big 'Thank you' to DawEdhel for providing an option to hide it all in Barefoot Essentials Fork.
He was in vacation until today, that may be why you didn't receive a reply.

Looking at this empty account's most standard reply of "Amazing!" and "Thanks for sharing information!" it's most definitely a bot. Even the longer answers feels fake and hollow, like a machine trying to emulate a person. In one of the posts it's even writing "The year 2023 may seem far away", in a post from March 2023. It doesn't know what year it is.
And it's been at it since February. It was reported in February too, and one forum post was removed, but the account wasn't touched.
