This is the official thread for reporting suspicious activity on the forums. If you see any bots breaking the rules by spamming, advertising, posting shady links to weird websites - report them here! Moderation Team will do their best to keep such posts to a minimum but, as you might imagine, it's impossible to keep an eye on every single thread 24/7. That's why we need your help, anti-spam force! :)

Big kudos to everyone who created and contributed to the unofficial thread!

Only report bot accounts/spam in this thread. Its purpose is not to report other users. If you see a user who you believe is breaking the rules, message Staff privately instead.

EllisDIaz apparently has written 97 reviews without owning any games here. I haven't sought out the other 95, but the reviews under these two games are identical and sound like an advert for something:

Well I don’t know if it’s a bot, but in the review sections of some games, I noticed that there is someone named EllisDlaz, who doesn’t own any games and has written 97 “reviews”. For example, in the games: Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3 Complete Edition, Silent Hill 4, Vampyr, Lords of the Fallen, Disco Elysium The Final Cut, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete, Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition.

I put the word “reviews” in brackets, because they aren’t actual reviews of the games. In all of them it is a few words’ advertisement of something called “boosteroid” and in all the above games, it was written on 20-1-23. So it’s maybe safe to say that all 97 of them might be written on the same date!

It’s not bad for the games, as in all of them he granted 5-stars, it’s just that the text is an advertisement.
