This is the official thread for reporting suspicious activity on the forums. If you see any bots breaking the rules by spamming, advertising, posting shady links to weird websites - report them here! Moderation Team will do their best to keep such posts to a minimum but, as you might imagine, it's impossible to keep an eye on every single thread 24/7. That's why we need your help, anti-spam force! :)

Only report bot accounts/spam in this thread. Its purpose is not to report other users. If you see a user who you believe is breaking the rules, message Staff privately instead.

About this one.
We got somebody who uses automatically created bots to post the same message over and over again.
In the german sub, we got a good idea who that might have been.

It might be a good idea to
1. Seek out all existing users with "Ripoff" in the name and exterminate them.
2. Create a rule to block the creation of this name and similar ones (not case sensitve and such stuff).

Not exactly spam, but more like a wannabe activist account posting nonsense in a changelog thread. There was no such change in any of the changelogs.

It's the same account that made the Russia-made / Ukraine-made GOG Game List thread, and then changed its name (from stateperson to wonderheart -- oh, how cute). It's obvious this account is up to no good, seeking only to perturb the forums. The blues should probably keep an eye on it.
