Theme Hospital doens't have sound. Anyone know how to activate the sound on Mac? Please Help, thank you.

Turn the volume up? I mean really how are we meant to guess, do you have speakers, are they on, do they have power. Do you get sound in mac, are the speakers muted? Does the game run correctly? What researching have you done?
