I just found it odd that you specifically bashed Sony, when all their competitors are just as bad, in their own ways. They'll do whatever they can get away with, whenever there's an opportunity to make even more cash.
Besides, your original comment was off-topic, since this is about crossplay functionality, which is good news for any PS4 gamers. It's not about Sony's stance on consumer rights.
On topic: I suspect they only did this because they were afraid to miss out on all that Battle Royale and MOBA hype ( and the money it brings ).
