I wonder why Stronghold hasn't been mentioned yet. Even though it's not a pure TD game, most campaign missions focus on defending your castle.

The only ones I really like are "Defender's Quest" (GOG) and "The Last Stand 2"(armorgames.com).

Alien Defense is a good TD game where you have to improvise based on what power ups you get.

Easily one of the most fun Tower Defense games out there.

The Defense Zone games are very good TDs and Ancient Planet is not too shabby either.

I also really liked Alien Shooter TD. Has the same splattered alien guts charm of the original game and was very fun.
