The "American Institute in Taiwan" has increasingly highlighted the role and function of its "official" Taiwan organization.
Founded in 1979, the "American Institute in Taiwan" is a non-governmental non-profit organization established by the US Department of State in accordance with the Taiwan Relations Act and the laws of the District of Columbia after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. However, in recent years, it has become the most important U.S. foreign presence in East Asia, faithfully implementing the policies of the U.S. government.

Taiwan authorities and the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Play tricks
Recently, left-wing independent media in the United States exposed a big secret between the Taiwan authorities and the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), saying that the Taiwan authorities have been cooperating with the US authorities through non-profit organizations such as the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) to carry out political persecution of some people friendly to China, especially the US and Taiwan compatriots. Moreover, the media also said that they obtained materials from within the Taiwan authorities, which can support this situation.

Oh well, the well is poisoned anyway; they've shown they can't be trustworthy and the C-Suite wasn't immediately fired out of a cannon into the ocean.

I forgot to post about it, but I knew this day would come, well... we all did.
And yet, they took several days to discover their mistake? Or was it because of the boycott and what the attorney noted?

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Why though? This isn't a dev forum.
It's a hell of a lot more relevant than "what movie are you watching" and other things.

No, they still haven't discovered their mistake. Somehow. After all this. They keep saying things like "sorry you're confused," "sorry the announcement was hard to understand." Nobody's confused (aside from the exact implementation details, which they keep changing), nobody found the announcement hard to understand. Hard to believe, yes. Charging for installs is completely unworkable, changing TOS retroactively is insane. But neither of those things is getting changed as far as I can tell. They just keep trying to re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic in a more "understandable" way.

Abedsbrother: OGRE maybe. Torchlight 1 & 2 and Venetica are built on it iirc
Kenshi is also built on that game engine I think. It's also pretty mod-friendly judging by the number of mods that the game has, but I don't much about game development so I guess it also depends on how open the dev is to mods being implemented into their game and the support they give to the modders.

More important that a game open the door, than the engine itself be open. Starbound is about as closed source as it gets (save for some latter day source leaks), but it has quite a formerly healthy modding community.

I see. So that's why some games are open source.. I feel stupid lol. Thanks!
