I played this on the PS3 or 360, I forget. and it ended up becoming my personal low budget winner.
--I arrived late to this game as it was only mere weeks before Sacred-3 dropped. and it was a turd compaired to 2..
-Its as if Sacred-3 went mainstream casual/all audiences.
~~regardless of Sacred-3 being mediocre @ best - Sacred 2 is special and whomever is looking for a new addicting game...

--Positives
-each character is a unique class that allows multiple playthroughs.
--Layout
-easy to learn controls
- main quest seems like a 'Legacy' quest that is difficult to stop playing..
-lore

-negatives
-not so much to us(PC) but it was dated on PS3 and chances are its dated PC too..

btw--hello everyone :)

Welcome!

The first game's pretty decent, too, from what I've played. Never played the subsequent ones, though, so I can't really compare/contrast.

If you're looking for similar types of games, there have been quite a few threads started here in the past about ARPGs/Diablo-clones/hack-'n'-loots/whatever-you-wanna-call-'ems.
How much is it in space bucks?

Depends -- does space have its own pricing region, or is it lumped in with "rest of the world"?

It depends if you're in Pizza The Hut's, Druidian or Space Ball territory.

It's been so long since I've last seen that movie that I had to pause for a second to figure out what you were talking about. :P

Haha well hopefully you got a laugh when you worked it out.
It's pretty good as long as you accept the generic world. Most NPCs are really boring and lifeless too. OTOH, there's a lot of jokes and easter eggs if you are into that.

My favourite part of the Sacred games (1 and 2) is that there's no resource bar, ONLY cooldown/regeneration. Play your cards right and you can constantly throw abilities around which is particularly enjoyable in Sacred 2 with its mainstreaming of Combos.

I highly recommend the community patch too!
It's $3 bucks here :)
I've beaten Sacred 2 a while back on the 360, too bad I won't ever get that character/save again. Oh well.

I enjoyed the game as I recall, it definitely had an MMO feel to the whole thing, but not in an excessive way. I got my GF to play with me for a time, although two people on that kind of game on the same screen is crowding. Thankfully inventory was never a big issue for a while. Reminds me a lot of Dark Alliance in that way.

The first Sacred is good too, but the isometric view grinds on you a little harder, perhaps it's not as fun doing alone since after a dozen or something hours I just couldn't continue playing. Although the funnest part is listening to familiar voice actors spouting out funny lines :P

Although there's a lot still to play in both games for classes, I just don't want to do it alone right now...
God, i miss the Vampiress and the Battlemage from the original Sacred. For some reasons, i loved the classes a lot more in the original. They were a lot more interesting.
