This reminds me when I went back in time to kill Hitler. Well, actually, I went to assist him in committing suicide.

And that's the reason Hitler died before capture in this timeline, instead of being cannibalized by Stalin allowing him to effectively summon* the Great Khuranthor directly from Hell and starting the Infinite Three-Way-War against Heaven and Hell.

I know, because I ended up building a time machine myself with instructions from tfishell. I ended up in a bleak future, where GOG was only selling a fraction of its classic catalog and what little there was, required either the Origin or Uplay client for activation. The indie department didn't fare any better, as it was comprised exclusively of in-dev games, games with stolen art assets or both. Old GOGers were crying in their sleep with the state of the store. It was horrible, I tell you. Once I returned from the trip, I destroyed the time machine and burned away all my notes regarding its creation. I suggest you do the same.
